DARMSTADT, Germany, Oct. 7, 2026 – etalytics today introduced etaONE IQ, a new AI interaction, reasoning and agent layer for etaONE, its Energy Intelligence platform for complex energy systems.
At the foundation is etaONE, which brings together operational data, the structure of the physical system, physics-based models and optimization capabilities. It helps operators understand how their energy infrastructure is behaving, anticipate changing conditions and optimize system operation.
etaONE IQ gives operators a new way to work with that intelligence. Instead of manually navigating data, assets and views to investigate an issue, users can begin with a direct question about their energy system and continue the investigation through natural language.
The system context already available in etaONE remains part of that investigation. etaONE IQ can determine which assets, measurements and capabilities are relevant, coordinate defined etaONE tools and preserve context across follow-up questions. It can also interact with supported parts of the etaONE interface, including navigating workflows, explaining complex dashboards and creating contextual visuals from live operational data.
etaONE IQ also extends beyond the moments when an operator is actively interacting with it. Proactive AI agents can continue working in the background, monitoring operations and investigating anomalies. Using etaONE capabilities and physics-based models where applicable, they can evaluate developing conditions and identify potential bottlenecks before an operator actively searches for them.
“etaONE already provides a deep understanding of how complex energy systems behave and how they can be operated more efficiently,” said Dr. Niklas Panten, Co-Founder and CEO of etalytics. “etaONE IQ gives operators an AI assistant that can work directly with that intelligence, helping them investigate faster while proactive agents continue supporting them between interactions.”
etaONE IQ is currently available in a beta and pilot phase, giving customers the opportunity to work with the new capabilities in real operational environments while the product continues to evolve.
For enterprise organizations, etaONE IQ can also fit into existing AI environments. Customers can connect approved LLM infrastructure, while MCP support allows supported etaONE capabilities to be used through compatible enterprise AI interfaces. For European deployments using the etalytics-hosted model option, the model infrastructure can be hosted in the European Union.
etalytics’ work on AI for energy operations also builds on insights from etaGPT (FKZ: 03EN4107A), a collaborative research project exploring how large language models can support industrial energy systems. The etaGPT research activities are funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
More information and product demonstrations are available on the etaONE IQ product page.
