DELTA “Reallabor” starts in Darmstadt

Blog // May 26, 2021

How urban neighborhoods can interact in an energy-optimized way – this is the question addressed by the “Darmstadt Energy Laboratory for Technologies in Application” (DELTA). As a showcase for the urban energy transition, the research project highlights potential for increasing energy efficiency and flexibility. In addition to technological innovations, DELTA will also investigate what driving forces the topics of digitization, new business models and concepts for citizen participation can unleash for a successful energy transition.

Etalytics as a digital solution provider for energy intelligence is a funded consortium partner and will contribute and further develop the etaONE platform for the analysis and optimization of energy systems . Together with further partners such as Technische Universtät Darmstadt, Merck, Evonik, ENTEGA, HEAG, ETA-Solutions and more we will demonstrate how a smart coupling of multiple energy districts can improve energy efficiency, reduce energy costs and support the grid integration of renewable energy.
